Here's an update from the Team at Legs Matter
We'd like to say a great BIG thank you to everyone who helped make our week such a great success
Media & online coverage
What a week we had, with a national reach of 31.1million people with our online and offline coverage we're super chuffed and would like to thank you for helping us to shape care.
Thank you to our Legs Matter Super Stars
Without the bravery to share their stories, be filmed or have their picture taken – this Legs Matter week would not have been possible.
Everyone's story is different
As part of Legs Matter Week we curated a number of patient's stories from across the UK. Hear from people talking about their own experiences of life with leg and foot problems.
Legs Matter Natters
From a stand at Sainsbury's in Oxford, a giant walk-through artery in London's East End, to Leg checks in Pudsey – OMG, there was a lot of welcome nattering across the UK.
Every day, thousands of people's quality of life is devastated by the lack of support and advice on the prevention of lower leg and foot conditions and the failure to correctly diagnose and treat them. This can and must change. This report explores the scale of the challenge we face and the massive impact this has on both the financial burden and the quality of a patient's life.
From features in the Independent's iNews, The Nursing Times, the Daily Mail print edition, Manchester Evening News, we featured across the whole of the UK.
Our corporate partners
Without the financial support of our corporate partners we wouldn't be able to to do what we do. But it's not just financial support, this week saw everyone rolling up their sleeves and getting involved. From touring arteries, branded cakes and helping share our message, we'd like to thank you all from the soles of our feet for making the impact of our first Legs Matter Week incredible.
We still have great merchandise available for purchase to use for events throughout the year and make sure legs and feet are always top of our minds.
